In 2 years, we have partnered with 10 colleges, opened 10 facilitation centers, and empowered more than 1000 engineering students. For almost forever, the educational system in India has been criticized for not being optimally designed for the scope of applying practical knowledge. There has always been wide gap between the theoretical knowledge and the practical application of it – a pain point well echoed by the industries.
It is this gap that Coastal ProSoft strives to bridge between the industrial demands and the education system in India. There is a lot of scope in terms of the types of courses: from embedded system training, computer hardware, to microcontroller projects and DIY robotics projects,students can find a lot of flexibility in choosing a course that revs up their knowledge quotient. With state-of-the-art practical lab training facilities and inter-departmental engineering projects in Coastal ProSoft’s Energy, Healthcare and Robotics divisions, students can be sure to practically test their knowledge and earn their way into applying for major corporations with our successful internship and placement programs.
We have established franchisee relations with ECIL (Electronics Corporation of India Limited), IGIAT (Indo Germanic Institute of Advanced Technology) in providing certified engineering courses training to students with a will to learn and solve problems creatively. Many engineering measurement, control, and manufacturing systems are controlled with a computer. In Addition, many consumer products are controlled with a microprocessor, or a programmable logic controller. A key component to these is the software that is used. The software converts information that is meaningful to people into information that is meaningful to equipment that is being operated (and vice versa). This workshop is designed to provide introductory experience with Lab VIEW software. Lab VIEW software is an industrial strength software tool that is used for many real applications.
a) Become comfortable with the Lab VIEW environment and data flow execution.
b) Learn Lab VIEW concepts.
c) Learn how to cquire, save and load data.
d) Work with data types, such as arrays and clusters.
e) Learn how to generate signal (sine, square etc.) and signals processing.
f) Able to display and print results.
g) Learn sensors interfacing through Serial RS-232 and USB Protocols.
h) Learn controlling of devices like buzzer, LED, Seven Segment Display and DC motor.

This workshop aims to design the layout of an electronic circuit, using open source KiCAD PCB design software, with various active and passive components, such as regulators, diodes, resistors, capacitors, inductors, switches, transformers, etc.
